Israeli war crimes

On Friday morning, the Israeli army carried out another horrific act of cruelty in the eastern part of the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. As a result of the heavy bombardment of the Israeli army on Abbasan, an entire Palestinian family was martyred. In this brutal attack on the house of Sheikh Ramadan Al-Daghma, 11 members of the Al-Daghma family were martyred, including innocent children and women.

Palestine

According to a Palestinian correspondent the warplanes destroyed the house of Sheikh Ramadan Al-Daghma in Abbasan in the early hours of the morning, reducing it to a pile of rubble. In this dangerous attack, Dua Adel Al-Daghma, Rami Salah Al-Daghma, Salah Ramadan Al-Daghma, Alaa Ramadan Al-Daghma, Ahmed Khalil Al-Daghma, Najj Salah Al-Daghma, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Daghma and Iman Khalil Al-Daghma were martyred. Others are being identified and the rest are being taken to the hospital, where they are fighting for their lives due to serious injuries.

This is another horrific incident of the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, which the Israeli occupation army has been waging a continuous war for the past 593 days. Every day, every moment and every breath has become a very dangerous reality for the Palestinian people, and on the other hand, the whole world is silently watching this spectacle, which humans have to answer to Allah.

families

A total of 6,050 members of these families were martyred, and hundreds of homes were permanently destroyed, leaving no survivors. Additionally, there are 5,120 families in which only one or two members survived, while the rest fell victim to this atrocity. In total, these families have lost 9,351 loved ones.

This refers to the Israeli aggression, including the massacre of the Dagma family in Gaza. The situation has been marked by war crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people, highlighting the extreme oppression they face.

People in Palestine and Gaza are desperate for water. The heat and sun are so intense that people are desperate for water. Clean and safe water is not available, which is why people are dying. Lives are being lost in the killings carried out by the Israeli state for the past 20 months. Water is a blessing that is not being given to even a human being.

The army’s tank bombing in Palestine has disrupted Gaza’s water system, the water pipeline filtration plant has been destroyed. It has become impossible for the people living here to access clean water, as a result of which the people of Gaza and Palestine are having to go through very difficult conditions.

Earlier, a person used to consume 84.6 liters of water per day, now this amount is only three to five liters per day, and that too with great difficulty, which is the minimum amount of 20 liters recommended by the World Health Organization in an emergency situation.

This shortage is not just a numerical crisis but a human tragedy. Bathing, washing hands, keeping children clean are all now a dream. Diseases have taken hold in the camps. Cholera, kidney failure, polio, liver diseases and even fatal cases of diarrhea in children have increased.

Dr. Ayman Ramlawi, an expert at the Gaza Ministry of Health, says that the Israeli bombing has “destroyed all aspects of life. Gazans say the hardest hit sector is the water and sanitation sector, which is suffering from a health crisis that is leading to deaths.

More than 85% of the Palestinian water and sewage systems have been destroyed. A water pump valve is proposed, while the water supply has decreased by 70 to 80%, which has not been able to meet the electricity shortage of these days and the shortage of even children. The situation is dying of thirst, which no one is asking for.

The rate of water contamination has increased significantly throughout Gaza, from 4 percent before, but now it has reached 25 percent. Not only drinking water, but also water used for household purposes has become contaminated, which is spreading more diseases.

65 to 70 percent of Gaza’s water supply has been destroyed, which has made the water supply delivered by tankers, but fuel shortages have made the system chaotic and dangerous, the United Nations has warned. The worst affected are children, who are dying of hunger and thirst. According to me, 90 percent of families do not even have access to drinking water and are unable to provide it to their children.

In the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, filth, garbage heaps and a large number of stray animals have caused rashes and other skin diseases. After the sewage facilities in Gaza were closed, sewage is flowing directly into the sea without any treatment, which has put not only human life but also the marine environment at risk.

Ramlavi says that before the war, more than 250 wells were working in Gaza, but now there are only 118, and their number is also constantly decreasing. Water reserves have become contaminated because only absorption pits are available for refugees to drain, which are poisoning the groundwater.

The situation is so bad that citizens cannot even meet their normal needs with one or two or three days of water.

On the other hand, the Israeli army has been inflicting injustice and famine on 2.4 million oppressed Palestinians since March 2. Thousands of trucks of aid supplies have been stopped by the Israeli army, causing Palestinians to die of hunger and thirst.

The Israeli army, with the full support of the United States, has been carrying out this senseless brutality that has been continuing since October 7, 2023. Muslims are being massacred in this senseless brutality, in which more than 175,000 Palestinians have been martyred and injured, the majority of whom are children and women. Approximately 14,000 are still missing, while all have become homeless.

This is not merely a humanitarian crisis; it is a collective catastrophe.
